• My fathers autograph book - During WW2 my father was a schoolboy living near Portsmouth, UK. These are extracts from his autograph book. Soldiers from Alton Camp. Australians, Canadians, British, etc.

• Roll-Of-Honour. Searchable data base covering Cambs, Hunts and Beds. A superb resource provided by Martin Edwards.

• Friends of Lochnagar - The organisation founded by Richard Dunning in 1989, following Richard's purchase of the Lochnager mine crater on the Somme.

• First World War - An excellent site with many well catalogued documents, images and first hand recollections.

• University of Cambridge Library  - A major source of written material. The library has a superb collection of trench maps.

• The Canadian National Archive - A searchable database of Canadian service records.

• The Man of Kent - Kyle Tallett's excellent WW1 site.

• Over the Front - The men that flew above the trenches.

• The Boys from the Old Swan - Ceris Schrader's grandfather fought with the South Wales Borderers in 1917/18. This site is a well presented tribute to this man along with three others.
